Rush Alpha Tau Omega
GRADES
ATO places a strong emphasis on academics (thats why we are all in college after all). Without good grades you cannot accomplish your ultimate goal of getting that diploma and that is why we have instituted multiple academic policies to help you get there. An extensive online test bank classified by course and instructor that is filled with reviews, old tests and class notes is the ultimate study tool to foster intellectual achievement. Study hours for our new and active members as well as rewards in the form of scholarships and recognition for those who have done well all add to the emphasis that ATO places on academics and personal success.

The most exciting and (possibly) memorable experiences of your life are to be had while being a part of Alpha Tau Omega. Some of our soon to happen and past social events include:

PHILANTHROPY
ATO believes in giving back to the community locally and in charitable giving around the world. Here in the Austin/San Marcos area every Christmas, Toys are collected and donated to needy families who otherwise would have nothing to celebrate. ATO has successfully been taking part in the "Toys for Tots" campaign for the last couple of years and is proud to be able to put a little bit of Christmas cheer in local homes where there would under normal circumstances not be any. Internationally ATO has undertaken the task of raising funds to build schools in Africa. To do so, we invited AFROMAN to perform here in San Marcos and sold tickets to raise the needed money.
BROTHERHOOD
ATO has many weekly and annual brotherhood events that help maintain our strong bond.
-Brotherhood retreat: Shoot guns, fish, four-wheel and cook out all on secluded land out in the country.
-Brotherhood dinner: Eat and drink while in the company of the finest gentlemen that Texas State has to offer.
-Brotherhood paintball: Shoot each other and leave welts. It's fun.
HOUSES
Ato has one house on campus on the corner of Comanche and Lindsey Street. The 8 bedroom house is located right on campus and serves as a perfect location to sit and relax between classes.
